The Great Hall at The Cooper Union is one of Manhattan’s most prestigious and long-lived auditoriums, and has hosted Horizons since 2015.


The Great Hall has been a center for public dialogue since its founding in 1858, having hosted such illustrious speakers as Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony, and more recently, Barack Obama.

This class will be taught by Aaron Paul Orsini, an autistic researcher who has published 4 books on the subject in addition to serving as a collaborating author on multiple autism-focused psychedelic studies at University College London & University of Toronto, including the first-ever clinical trial investigating psilocybin applications for addressing depression in autistic adults.
