Tehseen is an interdisciplinary social scientist based at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where he leads the project, ‘Community Strategising about Psychedelic Therapy in Aotearoa’. Tehseen also convenes the international & multi-disciplinary working group, 'Reimagining Psychedelic Trials’. He is interested in how psychedelic clinical trials work, their central role in wider drug approval processes and public discourses about psychedelics, and how these are affected by the increased hype and hope invested in psychedelic-assisted therapies in recent years. He is a part-time Scholar-in-Residence at Tactogen Public Benefit Corporation and Ambassador to the Fireside Project.
